The following clinicians work at our practice on a sessional basis.
Mark Russ - Clinical Director - BDS Birmingham 1989 (General dentistry and Endodontics)
Graduated in Birmingham and worked in the West End of London for 8 years. Mark had extensive post graduate training including, The Advanced Restorative and Endodontics Certificate at the Eastman Dental Hospital. Mark currently carries out general dentistry and Endodontics referral cases.
Joseph McGill - BDS MSC FDSRCPS M Orth RCS, MSc (Orthodontics)
Graduated in 1992 from the University of Glasgow. Joe has since attained various dental qualifications including Membership in Orthodontics and MSc Research. He works in a specialist practice in Bristol and is responsible for all Orthodontic treatments.
Michael Gregory - BDS Bristol 1992 (Prosthetics)
Qualified as a dental technician in London hospital in 1977 and has eight years teaching experience as a technical instructor in prosthetics to undergraduates at University College Hospital. He returned to University and graduated BDS in 1992. Currently Michael has his own practice and is a part-time clinical demonstrator in prosthetics at Bristol Dental Hospital. At this practice Michael will be responsible for prosthetics including advanced tooth wear cases and related treatments.
Professor Nicola West - BDS FDSRCS PHD FDS (Periodontics) (Implants and Restorative)
Graduated from Cardiff Dental Hospital in 1986. Nicola spent 2 years in hospital appointments gaining FDS FRS and PhD in erosion and dentine hypersensitivity. Specialisation in Periodontology followed. Nicola now holds an appointment as Senior Lecturer/Honorary Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Bristol Dental Hospital, with a special interest in Periodontology and works part time in our private practice.
Colin McGuirk - BDS graduated from Newcastle University 2005
Colin moved back to his home town of Bristol following a year of working for the NHS in the North East. He has since undertaken extensive postgraduate training and moved into private practice and is currently studying for his MSc in Dental Implantology, at Bristol University. Colin is also in the final stages of four year long courses in advanced restorative, aesthetic and implant dentistry. Colin is an active member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and British Academy of Implant Dentistry.
