Cosmetic bonding allows us to shape, sculpt and contour your perfect smile.
The non-invasive treatment is perfect for repairing chips, breaks and discolouration. And in the hands of our skilled cosmetic team, cosmetic bonding can improve smile symmetry, close gaps, recontour edges and achieve much more besides.
Here at Queen Square Dental Clinic, we often use composite bonding as the finishing touch to a comprehensive smile makeover.
Cosmetic Bonding in Bristol
Cosmetic bonding is the perfect pairing of technical craftsmanship with consummate artistry.
It’s the process of sculpting teeth into their perfect form using a specially-formulated composite resin. The procedure is non-invasive, kind to teeth, and the superb results must be seen to be believed.
The effect is up to you. You can work with us to design anything from brilliant brightness and symmetry right through to a subtle improvement.
Whichever look you choose, our close attention to detail means you’ll receive unparalleled results.
How Does Cosmetic Bonding Work?
First, our skilled clinicians will devise the right shade of resin to match the shade of your natural teeth perfectly.
In the vast majority of cases cosmetic bonding does not require any tooth preparation, drilling or injections.
The composite resin has a putty-like consistency which can be moulded to match the desired shape of the tooth. Once shaped and contoured correctly, we’ll cure the composite using a UV light.
The final step is to polish off and carry out any finishing touches. The whole process usually takes just 60 minutes.

Cosmetic Bonding FAQs
How long does cosmetic bonding last?
Cosmetic bonding can last for many years, as long as you take care of it. You should look after your teeth the same way and keep on top of brushing and maintain a healthy diet to avoid staining and other damage.
How much does cosmetic bonding cost?
It can depend on how much treatment you require, so you should contact us and arrange a consultation to find out more.
Can you reverse cosmetic bonding?
Yes. Treatment is reversible and won’t affect your existing teeth in the long run. But we’re sure you’ll love the results.
Does cosmetic bonding break easily?
If you take good care of your teeth, there’s no reason as to why your bonding should chip or break.
Is cosmetic bonding painful?
No. The surface of your tooth that’s treated isn’t sensitive and an anaesthetic isn’t necessary.
