Practice Manager Dual Site

High profile private cosmetic dental clinics in central Bristol seek an experienced Practice Manager. These are great, highly motivated clinics with a desire to be the best.
We offer routine private and cosmetic dental treatments as well as a full range of advanced specialist referral clinics.

We require a dental practice manager with excellent references and a history of success to take responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of our practices. The manager is expected to ensure that the practices are up to date with the current regulatory requirements such as CQC etc. The area of the responsibilities includes the following aspects of the practice:

Personnel management: Undertake recruitment, arrange staff induction and training, monitor staff hours, performance review and appraisals, dealing with disciplinary and grievance arrangements, holding regular staff meetings.

Finance: Take responsibility for all banking procedures, ensuring correct patient payment collection and recovery of the debts, checking the accuracy of invoices and bills and arranging payments.

Patients: Operation of the patient booking and recall system, dealing with complaints through the practice complaints procedure and dealing with patient queries in difficult situations. Greeting people and making them feel comfortable and happy in our surgery.

Administration: Keep all practice documentation, manuals and policies up to date, ensure maintenance for the computer service and data security, design marketing strategy and oversight of web and social media.

Equipment, Materials and Health and Safety: Liaise with sales and suppliers’ reps as necessary, audit and review practice orders in view of getting better deals, setting up an efficient stock control, ensuring that the practice complies with health and safety requirements and ensuring that the practice equipment is serviced and maintained.

Other: Ensure property is maintained to the highest level, provide the practice owners with daily and weekly reports on the progress and the shortcomings.

Candidates need:
• Must have strong clinical and management experience and a clear understanding of clinical/dental terminology, procedures and regulations.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written.
• Excellent people skills, able to deal with patients, staff & contractors in a calm, empathetic approach.
• Excellent follow-up ability on all tasks, effective delegation skills and be target driven.
• 21st Century IT skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• No Criminal Record.
Clinical training and GDC registration may be of benefit in this role.
The base salary will be dependent on experience. Hours can be discussed at the interview.
