Laura qualified from the University of Bristol in 2014 and completed her foundation training in Bristol before embarking on a hospital career in Oral Surgery. She has over eleven years of experience in hospital dentistry, including a locum consultant post at Gloucestershire Royal Hospitals Foundation Trust where she was delivering complex Oral Surgery and training resident doctors in Oral Surgery. She has a particular interest in caring for anxious patients and is fully trained in Conscious Sedation, allowing her to provide high-quality care in a calm and supportive environment. She is currently working as a Oral Surgery Specialist at Practice Plus Group Emerson’s Green Hospital where she is involved in teaching postgraduate students on the University of Bristol PGCert in Clinical Conscious Sedation and Anxiety Management. She also has extensive experience delivering Oral Surgery in primary care including Implant Dentistry; currently completing a Diploma in Implant Dentistry.

She is a member of Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD), British Association of Oral Surgeons (BAOS) and the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (BAOMS). In addition, she has published academic work in the fields of oral surgery and medical education.
