Broad range of treatments

Working in our state of the art environment, our fantastic team provide a wide range of dental treatments, including:

White Fillings

Queen Square Dental Clinic is a mercury-free environment, so you’ll find that all our fillings are natural looking and match your tooth shade.

Using a composite filling, we can skilfully fill your cavity and keep your tooth protected. We’ll choose the best shade of composite to match your teeth, meaning the filling will be camouflaged and not visible when you smile. The filling material is mouldable, allowing us to shape it so that it emulates any missing tooth structure. Made from a number of fillers combined with acrylic resin, the filling can be bonded directly to your tooth.

Composite fillings are used for the following reasons:

  • To treat a tooth that is decayed – this is done by removing the decay and filling the cavity
  • To replace an old metal filling – giving your tooth a better cosmetic appearance
  • To restore misshapen teeth
  • To repair a broken filling or chipped tooth
  • To close a gap between two teeth

We can also mould composite filling material into the shape of a veneer. This is a faster alternative to porcelain veneers, although porcelain is stronger and will last longer.

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Sedation can be provided alongside oral surgery for nervous patients.

In some cases, there might not be enough room in your mouth for your wisdom teeth to grow properly. This means that as they start to come through, the wisdom teeth push against the existing teeth or start to grow at an angle. When this happens, you might feel some discomfort or pain, which is why it’s important to visit a dentist to get your wisdom teeth checked.

We will take an x-ray of your mouth to see how your wisdom teeth are growing through. From this, we can make a judgement on whether or not your wisdom teeth would benefit from removal.

Extractions can be carried out under sedation.

Alfonso Rao and his fully trained team look forward to meeting with you.
